Exposure and Perspective 1

Perspective is based on the known, the past, which is of course not always factual. Due to lack of or inaccurate documentation and monetized media sources. Through exposure, one adapts the definition of normal.
Something witnessed or experienced often becomes engrained into the fabric of society and weaves itself into the definition of normalcy. Ultimately becoming acceptable. Abnormality depends on the viewer. What is unusual to some may be usual to others.

These images may be reminiscent of a face, but not one that is recognized. These can be interpreted as faces based on what is known. Eyes, nose, mouth. But is that enough to say this is a face?
Success in this world is measured by western standards. The systems built were created by a single mindset and way of life.
This negates the belief that effort equals reward. Especially when one does not fit the universal standard.
Regardless of the opportunities available, there are multiple factors determining whether one can even take the chance.
An outlier to this world must warp their reality, squeezing and conforming to the unforgiving mold, in order to succeed.
The effort required, to overcome these obscure obstacles, is massive and the result can often be futile compared to the endeavor.
Somewhere along the way society created rules linking image to the level of respect one deserved. Used as a benefit to control and discriminate. Keeping anything "other" suppressed so as not to lose power or evoke change. Non-factual, nonsensical notions which have unfortunately stuck through generations, becoming systemic.
Empathy is imperative to manifest change. A simple solution, yet seemingly lacking in every level of society.
There are no rules to self-expression. Outer appearance has nothing to do with intention.
Think about the most horrific crimes committed throughout history.
The attention brought upon anything "other" is only a distraction, a finger pointed by the perpetrators themselves. They define normal — usual — to disguise their ghastly actions.
